Ch. After All’s Eighty Poof, STDcds, DNA-VP earned a Q on open ducks! Thank you, David Clayton, for training and trialing Miss Goose.
In obedience, Patti Page and I earned her first ASCA novice obedience leg plus had a ball showing in Team! Our team members were Erica Escalada & Odie, Allison Dyches & Keera, me & Patti, plus a stand in from Canada, Victoria Lamont & Rosie. We had a blast and ended up third place in the team event! Thank you, Trisha Herring, for allowing me the pleasure of working with Patti Page in obedience.

After All’s Girl’s Best Friend, DNA-VP had a very consistent Nationals! Bling was second in the 9-12 class in the GAASC show under Cheryl Padgett, second at the High Plains show under Selena Poplin, first at the BRASC show under Ric Pittman, and third in the Nationals under Carol Earnest. Allison also showed Bling in juniors. Allison placed second and third in the pre shows then earned a first place win in the Nationals Juniors Finals event! Woo hoo! GO Bling and Allison! I am so proud of this young lady! Allison also showed Patti Page to three out of three premiers!
Ch. After All’s Good for the Gander, DNA-VP was a top ten premier (ten premiers total) on Sunday’s High Plains ASC pre show under Mike Ryan. Gander also premiered in the Nationals under Terry Morgan! Gander is only 20 months old so I am very pleased with him.

Ya Ya had a GREAT time trialing in Agility this year as well. She came home with a NEW Title GS-N! She had several nice placements as well. This is Lucienne and The Ya's first time to ever trial in ASCA and they did GREAT! What a NICE team they make! You guys ROCK!
Our Scribble x Hilton puppies had a good time getting their paws wet at their first Nationals! On Saturday, Swing was first place, Snap was second place, and Knobbins (pictured below) was second place under Glenda Stephenson. Sunday, Knobbins was first place and Best Opposite Sex Puppy, Snap was second, and Swing was fourth. Monday, Knobbins was first place! In the Nationals, Knobbins was third and Snap was second place. Mel and Rick own Knobbins and Erica Escalada and I own Snap. Thank you to Heidi Mobley for these two pics of Knobbins!
My biggest brag is from a dog we bred, Ch. After All’s The Simple Life, DNA-VP. Hilton is owned by Cindy Ghent and Alene Schultz in Canada and they were kind enough to send Hilton to S. Carolina to show and finish his ASCA championship. They got Hilton home, fattened him up a bit and tried to get some coat on him (not easy!). They came to New Jersey with a very handsome Hilton! What I like best about Hilton is the way he floats around the ring. The dog is so happy and he rarely puts a foot down wrong. Big thanks to Erica Escalada for handling him all week! Hilton ended up as a premier under David Clayton at the GAASC show, a top ten premier *and* Best Opposite Sex at the High Plains ASC show under Mike Ryan, and then BEST OF BREED on Monday at the BRASC show under Heather Herron! I screamed and cried and jumped around like a fool. Hilton is a dream come true to me as a breeder. I will always be grateful to Mirjam and Maarten Walter for allowing me to breed Zut to their extremely cool dog, WTCh Ch Malpaso’s Chaps ‘n Spurs, RTDcs, DNA-VP (Camden). Camden is such a consistently nice producer!
Part of my brag also needs to be what an awesome set up we had. Big shout out and THANK YOU to Jeffrey & Rebecca Wasson (Allison’s parents) as well as Sandra & Jim Landry of Vinelake Aussies. We had our own dog show “compound” and Jim & Jeffrey were incredibly excellent dog show husbands! I wish I could clone the both of them. Jeffrey cooked non stop and invited anyone walking by to sit down, have a bite to eat, and chat a while. What wonderful southern hospitality!
Thanks and congrats to everyone!
All the awesome photos on this page (except for the two of Knobbins) are thanks to Shelly Hutchinson of Darwin Aussies.
